Taekwondo mulai berkembang di Indonesia pada tahun 70-an. Taekwondo berkembang pesat di Indonesia dan telah memiliki lebih dari 200.000 anggota. Saat ini Taekwondo telah dipertandingkan sebagai cabang olahraga resmi di arena PON.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,times,serif\">Universitas Proklamasi 45 Yogyakarta juga memiliki unit kemahasiswaan Taekwondo. Unit Kemahasiswaan taekwondo Universitas Proklamasi 45 memiliki lebih dari 20 anggota. Setelah tahun lalu unit taekwondo meraih medali perak dan perunggu dalam kejuaraan tingkat nasional melalui student championship 2016, di tahun 2017 unit taekwondo meraih medali perunggu di POR BAPPOMI 13 Mei 2017 lalu. Atas nama Awaliyah Nadia Belyni di kelas senior U49 dan Nurbaya Umaternate di kelas senior U57.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,times,serif\">Awaliyah Nadia Belyni mengatakan pada awalnya yang turun dalam pertandingan ini sebanyak 6 orang tetapi yang berhasil meraih medali 2 orang. Ini merupakan pertandingan ke 2 Awaliyah sedangkan bagi Nurbaya ini merupakan pertandingan pertamanya. Rasa deg-degan membayangi di awal pertandingan tetapi Nurbaya berusaha fokus untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,times,serif\">Di akhir perbincangan, Awaliyah mengajak semua teman-teman yang ada di Universitas Proklamasi 45 untuk terus berkarya &ldquo;Mari teman-teman semua, kita gali prestasi mumpung masih muda&rdquo;, tutupnya. <strong>(FAG)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Taekwondo merupakan seni bela diri asal Korea yang disebut juga olahraga nasional Korea.
